Hot Bean Pot Roast


  • 3/4 cup dried pinto beans and 3/4 cup dried kidney beans, both soaked overnight
  • 1 cup Spiceitup! Jalapeno Ketchup
  • 2-3 lb lean chuck roast
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 4 carrots cut in big pieces
  • 3 cups hot water
  • 2 stalks of celery
  • 1/2 tsp pepper


Brown meat in skillet, then place in roast pan. Place beans, carrots, celery and spices around roast. Mix Spiceitup! Jalapeno Ketchup and water and pour over roast and ingredients. Cook in 325°F (162.8°C) oven for 5-6 hours. Remove roast and cut into serving sized pieces. Leftovers are delicious!
