Spicy Barbecued Chicken
1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
3/4 cup
Spiceitup! Jalapeño Ketchup
2 tbsp cooking oil
1/4 cup vinegar
1
tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp brown sugar
1 tsp celery seed
1
tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 (2 1/2-3 lb)
chickens
Sauté onions and garlic in cooking oil until tender. Stir
in all other ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer
uncovered for 10 minutes stirring several times. Cut chicken in quarters
or pieces, baste and grill with bone side down for 25 minutes on
medium-hot grill. Turn and baste, then cook another 20-25 minutes and
baste after turning with remaining sauce.
