Shrimp Creole

  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 cups celery
  • 1 green pepper, chopped fine
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
  • small can tomato paste
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 8 cloves
  • 2 lbs shrimp
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • 2 or 3 chilies
  • 1/4 cup Spiceitup! Jalapeño Ketchup

Fry onions, garlic, celery and peppers in skillet in small amount of fat. Stir in tomato sauces and water. Stir in spices. Heat and stir occasionally for 20-30 minutes. Add mushrooms and shrimp 30 minutes before serving. Serve on fluffy rice.
